Although there were Wagg's living in Norfolk as early as 1617,
the earliest recorded document of my branch of the Wagg family is the
record of the marriage of my great-great-great-great-great grandfather
John Wegg to Sarah Frost on 18 April 1742 in
Gresham, Norfolk, England, about 30km (18.6 miles) north of Norwich.
